A gentlemen’s dialogue

Galerie Parisa Kind in Frankfurt/Main is showcasing works by designer Pierre Paulin for the first time in Germany, juxtaposing them to paintings by his long-term friend Christoph von Weyhe.
Paulin designed Le Chat in 1967. Its tense curves seem to leap from a single point. Drawn with a single stroke of the pen. Without hesitation. You can feel the power, the readiness to leap. But it also invites you to sit. It’s fully shaped to your b
ody. Dynamic and restful. Now, in 2007, Artifort is re-introducing Le Chat, with a slight modification.
