For the production of BENU REMIX, wool yarns are recycled out of unused fabrics from the Italian fashion industry that would otherwise have gone to waste. The material is sorted by colours, shredded, carded and re-spun. Thereby, the energy-intensive process of dyeing is eliminated completely, greatly reducing the use of energy, water and chemicals and thereby contributing to an ecologically improved environment. All fabrics of the BENU collection are made out of recycled materials and stand for sustainability and ecologically sound production processes. BENU REMIX is made by an Italian producer who specialises in high-end wool fabrics.
