Weaving the future
The traditional Swiss textile specialist Création Baumann presents a new look after its brand relaunch. Managing Director Philippe Baumann explains the concept to us in an interview.

Two colours for a big impact: “Dolores“ from the Spring Collection 2014 by Création Baumann is a soft flowing linen fabric. The two different prints issue an open invitation to combine it and to create striking drape effects. Both colours look incredibly natural. The palette encompasses 9 colours and ranges from light beige to a shade of light grey green and a raspberry. The effect is summery and fresh. “Dolores“ takes up the current trend in fashion both in respect of the colour palette and a refined, cool feel.
The double sided print is shown off to perfection in a cushion. A natural hue on the back is teamed with a fresh tone on the front, displaying quilting in a contrasting colour. Such colour flirtations can elevate a cushion to an eye-catcher in the apartment.
