Hundreds of sequins are shimmering at the window. The “Etta” fabric from the Spring Collection 2014 by Création Baumann pays homage to the twenties, to Charleston and to Art Deco, and yet is ultra modern. The extravagant fabric features appliqués of shimmering squares in sequin material on highly sheer tulle – inclusive of depth effect. The result is something to be proud of. Like a capricious actress, the fabric has its big entrance. A touch of glamour surrounds it.
Depending on colour selection the mood changes. At times dramatic in black, then light and flirtatious in silver only to don gold with an elegant retro touch. The slightest movement makes the sequins dance, generating tantalising reflections with light; truly a masterful display of light and shade. The 140 cm wide and 300 cm tall fabric is available as a panel.
