Kitchen and bathroom furnishings by Dada emphasize the special character of the high rise “56 Leonard Street” in New York City.
Second Dada stool by Francesco Meda, who designs the entire Woody seating collection for Molteni&C.
A solid wooden structure made of two finishes, natural ash and black stained ash, features harmoniously
linked lines of the seat, also made of wood or covered with bonded hide leather. Pewter painted steel footrest.
The totally and seamlessly jointed, screw-free construction produces a lightweight, organic effect.
This is how Francesco Meda summarizes the philosophy of his design: “My focus is on achieving “airy”
sections in order to reduce the material used to a minimum, not wasting wood, which is such a precious
material.”
The careful ergonomic study makes Woody comfortable, respecting the correct posture of the body.
