OMBRA is a carefully crafted object that brings together scent and the memory of light in a subtle, poetic form. OMBRA is composed of a transparent borosilicate glass vessel with a lid and two wooden diffuser sticks – a simple, almost meditative assembly. More than a container, OMBRA acts as a keepsake of the language of light that Davide Groppi explores through his designs. The matte black finish, together with metal, wood and glass, gives OMBRA a warm yet contemporary presence. OMBRA fits naturally on tables, sideboards and shelves, integrating discreetly into living and working environments while telling a small story: light, silence and fragrance combined to create atmosphere. Its reduced, clear geometry makes OMBRA extremely versatile; the two included black wooden sticks provide a subtle, elegant detail. OMBRA is not an exuberant object but a quiet companion that refines a space through materiality and proportion, offering a tactile and olfactory experience. In this way, OMBRA becomes an invitation to pause and to perceive how light and scent shape our perception of a room.
