UMASI is the magic of a lampshade moving through space. The light is generated within and reveals itself without ever appearing directly. It passes through three layers, transforming into a soft, enveloping material. Shadows dissolve, contours soften, and the space slows down. It is a quiet presence, capable of evoking a deep sense of familiarity. Switching it on is never an intrusive gesture, but a gentle breath that spreads through the room. The lampshade slides along the cable, from ceiling to floor, each time defining a new balance between light and space. UMASI is both a floor and a suspension lamp: an essential object that naturally adapts to domestic settings, creating intimate and measured atmospheres. Available in two sizes. The ceiling rose and floor base are in black anodized aluminium. The lampshade is made of PETG, coated inside and out with paper, to ensure a soft and even light diffusion. The light source is an integrated LED module. The vertical, coaxial, matte black cable discreetly accompanies the movement of the lampshade, as does the power cable on the floor. Switching on and dimming are controlled by a switch/dimmer along the cable. Plug-in driver. UMASI is not just a lamp, but a gesture. An invitation to rediscover, in light, a form of simplicity.
