Alessandro Farnetti

Alessandro Farnetti was born on 15.07.1955. He comes of an ancient family of Ferrara. He lives in Milan where he works as an orthopaedic surgeon. From the outset fond of everything that can be created with wood, invented or copied from existing objects, he decided to link his medical job to that of designer, creating useful, functional, and practical wooden objects, that he normally uses in his house. Lover of nature and of the countryside in the neighborhood of Piacenza, where he owns an old farm-house, he is inspired by the beauty of the landscape that surrounds him, taking it as a starting point for his creations.
