Fantasy gives one wings – we can see this in a very special way from the creative work of Elisa Honkanen. Formative influences in her designs are nature in Finland, her home country, and the lifestyle practised there, which combines purity with a sense of the practical. After studying in Finland and Italy, Elisa Honkanen worked initially in Milan, but moved to Paris in 2005, where she makes her creative talent available to well-known design studios and contributes to international brand product development. Since 2009 the designer has concentrated on her own projects. Her guiding principle is straightforward but at the same time extremely demanding: Elisa Honkanen aims to create objects "that people enjoy using and having".
