Biography
Born in Barcelona in 1948, he studied Industrial Design at the EINA School in Barcelona, where he now teaches and is a member of the Governing Council of the Product Design Department. Josep Llusca is a former Vice-President of the Asociacion de Dise&ntil
de;adores Industriales para el Fomento de las Artes Decorativas (ADI-FAD) [Association of Industrial Designers for the Promotion of the Decorative Arts] in Barcelona, and a former member of the Advisory Council on Design of the Generalitat de Catalunya [C
atalan regional government]. His specialities, among others, are domestic and industrial lighting, office and institutional furniture, packaging, sports equipment and toys. He has worked with a great number of international companies such as Carlsberg, Es
selte-Dymo, Flos-Arteluce, General Electric, IBM and WMF.
