Manuel studied at Middlesex University of Fine Art in London in 2000. After gaining his degree in Visual Arts from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice, he became the Creative Director of CERTRE’ in 2003 and developed the Life Style Programme for ceramic design. He has been designing products, display areas and showrooms since 2007, among which the Light Village. He is also involved in the Snapshots magazine, the PR agency and some products lines. He has designed several products, most notably Folia, Idot2009/010, Mamba (which received mention at L+B) Entourage,Flagled, Dynamic. His luminaires Peggy, Flower Family and Marge were exhibited by invitation of the director Lucilla Del Santo in the Casa Sensoriale Domotica in the Italy Pavilion of the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale.
