Ophélie Sanga was born in 1988 in Geneva. She studied jewelry design at the University of Art and Design (HEAD). During this she went to Pforzheim, Germany to learn new jewelry techniques. After her studies, she had the opportunity to exhibit her work in the Netherlands, at the Galerie Maarze, in Paris’ Pavillon Corbusier and in Geneva. Right before starting her Master at ECAL, she had a very inspiring workshop on watchmaking with designer Clodio Collucci. This resulted in an exhibition called «24 hours in the life of Swiss Cuckoo clock», which is currently traveling around the world.
