Sezgin Aksu

Born In Turkey, in 1970, Sezgin Aksu studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart (Germany) with R.Sapper, at Les Atelier in Paris (France) with P. Lionni and at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy). Sezgin Aksu collected work-experience in different studios, Intergral concept with Pippo Lionni (Paris), Ian Murrough (Los Angeles), U.Jetzt (Stuttgart) and Michele De Lucchi (Milan). Currently, Sezgin Aksu is living and working in Milan. Since 1996 he collaborates with Michele de Lucchi in his Milan based studio. Since 1996 he has designed with Michele De Lucchi different products for Italian and international companies (Telecom Italia, Enel, Caimi, Fiat, Olivetti, Poltrona Frau, ICS, Compaq, etc.) Since 2000, Sezgin Aksu is working for different companies under his name, he operates in the field of product designs. He participated on invitation at different design-exhibitions, and as exhibitor at the International Furniture Fair in Milan (2000, 2001). Since 2001, he organized Workshops/Conferences at different design oriented schools in Italy (Naples, Treviso, Morcone), and since 2002 he teaches Industrial Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design of Milan.
