A solid footing on an upward spiral
EeStairs designed a sweeping staircase for the new headquarters of Dutch manufacturer Vreugdenhil.
Located in the streets of Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, EeStairs has proudly completed two beautiful helical staircases and a glass balcony, allowing for exceptional view and floor-to-floor access. The mild steel structure was created into a fantastic staircase using glass treads complemented by a curved glass and stainless steel railing.
Approaching each staircase you are presented with 10mm\10mm\10mm tempered laminated clear glass treads with an acid edge surface finish. Each side of the staircase is surrounded with ½” tempered clear glass panels and a brushed stainless steel handrail.
Continuing to the upper level of the home, you are offered a spectacular view from a large glass balcony with windows surrounding the home, overlooking a beautiful valley. The amount of glass combined in this home does nothing but help make the sights beyond amazing.
Installation was difficult, bringing both staircases through the roof of the home and placing them in one on top of the other strategically required some creativity, but together the EeCrew was able to successfully get the job done.
