"Where Would We Be Without You?" was the motto of this year's 3daysofdesign, Denmark's most important design festival, which took place in Copenhagen from 7 to 9 June 2023. Poorer of many wonderful memories and encounters would be my answer to this question.

At first sight Hamburg’s “The Morgenmuffel” looks like several restaurants all rolled into one. Every room is different, and the various interiors do not seem coordinated with one another. However, on closer inspection a well thought-through overall concept emerges: a culinary adventure that plays out in various rooms.

With its "Simonsson House" on the edge of the Arctic Circle, Swedish architecture and design studio Claesson Koivisto Rune is making a sculptural statement, one influenced by the rigid local building regulations and the Arctic conditions.

Due to the pandemic, the 3daysofdesign took place this year from 15 to 17 June and once again showed how varied Scandinavian design can be. "Remember to Play" was the motto, which Luca Nichetto translated graphically. We have selected ten highlights from the numerous showrooms and exhibition areas.
