Tom Dixon: Bell

We’re known for our metallics and monochromes, so this season we wanted to have some fresh interior design colours as a contrast. Standing out from the lot and injecting a pop of colour is the new Bell portable light in fluoro. Bell's powder coated surface is high-gloss, which mirrors its surroundings, while a concealed diffuser produces its soft lighting. An exercise in reductionism, Bell is a dome suspended over a dome formed of plated pressed steel. A stunning, highly engineering portable light that acts as a real exclamation mark in any interior.
