Relax in exclusivity
Vacation in an elegant resort directly on the Baltic coast: The 5-star Schlossgut Weissenhaus hotel in Schleswig-Holstein is scattered across no less than 40 historical buildings that formed the ancient estate – and have now been lovingly restored and fitted out on behalf of Hamburg-based businessman Jan Henric Buettner. Alongside the 62 rooms and suites, the neo-Baroque estate also boasts a starred gourmet restaurant “Courtier”, a cocktail bar, a movie theater and the spa, with a wellness zone no less than 1,500 square meters in size.
The “Axor Montreux” collection from Axor ensures the bathrooms in the beachside hotel are truly elegant. The mixers with classical low faucets or modern high arched faucets were inspired by industrial design from around 1900. The restored manor house as the core of the resort dates to that marvelous age. Together with traditional mixers created together with Studio Phoenix Design, boasting clear geometric shapes and refined marble tops. The washstands feature three-hole wall mixers with cross-shaped handles and classical porcelain inserts reading “Hot” and “Cold” – bringing an authentic feel to the bathrooms. Alongside the standalone tubs, the Axor Montreux two-handle bath mixer cuts an exclusive and fine figure, while also being easy to use. (am)
