During the Luminale Frankfurt, the interior designers from Hessen are addressing the issue of sustainability.
2/11/2020

Also in 2020, the Association of German Interior Designers (BDIA) in Hessen invites to the network event " Innenarchitektur offen", which will again take place as part of the Luminale on 12 March 2020 in Frankfurt am Main. The eighth edition of the event is dedicated to the theme of sustainability. A lecture and a panel discussion will explore the possibilities of interior design to contribute to ecologically responsible behaviour. As part of the supporting programme, invited BDIA members will present projects from their area of expertise in respect to “Building in Existing Contexts”.

Under the motto "Ans Licht bringen" ("Bringing to light"), interior design students from the universities of Mainz, Darmstadt and Wiesbaden will illuminate the venue, the Historisches Museum Frankfurt, with five installations from 12 to 15 March. These works of light art all deal with the theme "Light in the context of time, place, space and man". The projects will be presented to the public during an event on 15 March.
