CLEAF
Lines define spaces and shapes, but new possibilities only emerge when we think beyond these boundaries. This opens the door to technical progress, fresh design ideas and carefully crafted details. Guided by this idea, Cleaf is showcasing two projects in Milan that embody this approach.
The redesigned CCube showroom by Lissoni & Partners translates the company’s material world into a clear, minimalist architectural language. The new layout features four distinct material effects: wood, stone, metal and fabric. Each paired with environments reflecting movement, performance and functionality, such as an indoor cycling track, a climbing wall, spectator stands and changing rooms. This choreography of materials and spatial experiences enables visitors to experience Cleaf surfaces through both visual perception and the dynamics of use and interaction.
At the same time, the exhibition stand designed by Studio Hugo for the Salone del Mobile transforms the theme 'Beyond the Lines' into an immersive spatial experience. As visitors move through the stand, they discover diverse insights into the structure, surface and depth of the materials through graphic and architectural lines. Adding an unexpected, playful dimension, the stand also features a table tennis area, turning interaction with the space and materials into an engaging, participatory experience.
The presentation focuses on a new texture that significantly expand Cleaf’s design possibilities: "Annara". Inspired by the warm appearance of teak, "Annara" features a dense and finely detailed grain. Its name, which is a dialect expression for growth rings, evokes the concepts of time, growth and development.
A highlight of Milan Design Week is the opening party at the CCube on 22 April 2026, running from 7pm to 11pm. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the new design and texture in a distinctive atmosphere.
