The Christmas season requires a lot of hard work. It also calls for a great deal of thought when it comes to gifts. Have you bought all of your presents? Or are you still mulling it over? What should you give this person or that? Which presents would your nearest and dearest like the most? How much can you afford to spend? Or would it be better to make something yourself?
Giving presents means taking time, thinking of others, carefully choosing just the right gift, but of course much of the joy found in giving comes from the anticipation of that happy response when they pull away the wrapping paper.
Yet writing your own Christmas list isn’t any less complicated. This too is an art in itself. Happiness, health and good fortune – or perhaps those gorgeous shoes after all, or that long awaited trip, the newest gadget, a chair or mirror for the apartment?
And as with giving, when making your Christmas wish list that thrill of anticipation is often the best part. Which is why you quite often wish you could give something really special as a gift, something that might seem completely unattainable, but just imagining the expression on the recipient’s face is gratification enough.
Now, as a way of sharing the joy of making Christmas wishes and giving gifts to others, we have come up with a “special feature”. Seen as it’s Christmas, we were able to persuade the Stylepark team to provide you with some very special and somewhat different inspiration to take with you on your search for the perfect Christmas present. All of their recommendations are based on the theme:
What I always wished I could give as a present.
And so that you know exactly who has shared their gift tips, we have asked all those who have contributed to take a photo of themselves and include it with their personal Christmas wish. So you’ll also have a chance to get to know the team a little better!
So all that’s left to say is enjoy writing your Christmas list, giving gifts to your loved ones and rummaging around in the search for the perfect gift.
