Fantin's roots are in the north-east of Italy, in the industrial location of Fiume Veneto. Since its beginnings in 1968, Fantin has perfected the processing of metal – today, the entire production cycle takes place in the company's own factory: from the delivery of the raw materials to the mechanical processing procedures to powder coating, assembly and packaging. This year, Fantin is exhibiting its skills at two locations in Milan: At the Salone del Mobile.Milano and in the showroom of Pianca & Partners.

Therefore, there is a lot to see and to celebrate: from the 50th anniversary of the "UNO" shelving system from the pen of Dorino Fantin to novelties of the "HUG" collection by Giulio Iacchetti. This year, the classic "UNO" shelving system will be equipped with integrated light for the first time - the flexible, magnetic LED strips give the presentation a museum-like character. At the same time, the design shows that "UNO" can also take on a supporting role in any room without screws. A large selection is available for individual colouring.

Meanwhile, Fantin is expanding the round tube collection "HUG" with a three-legged stool featuring a round seat and a four-legged table with a round tabletop. The special connecting knot, which is characteristic of this collection, is reminiscent of an embrace. "For Fantin, the 'HUG' collection by Giulio Iacchetti is the first contribution by an external designer after the early collections and my designs of the last decade. Therefore, it was important to meet a professional like Giulio, who has a similar approach and interpreted the metal in terms of industrial culture and coherently with the character of the company. The introduction of the round tube, accentuated by the innovative use of the joints, breaks with previous collections consisting of frames with orthogonal profiles and expands a range that has always been distinguished by functional products and absolute formal cleanliness″, says Salvatore Indriolo, Fantin's creative director.
