A premiere at the Salone del Mobile 2023 will be the presentation by Freifrau of the new, elegant "Marie" collection, which Hoffmann Kahleyss developed for Freifrau. They also designed the "Grace" collection, which has been expanded with a lounge chair in two versions and a footstool. In all cases, the base is a powder-coated tubular steel frame that can be designed in the versatile metal colours from the Freifrau range or in RAL colours. The covers of the continuous seat shells and the seat surfaces of the two new lounge chairs are made of robust, firm neck leather, which comes from the neck of bulls and offers a characteristic grain pattern. Combined with rounded edges and visible seams that run around the shape, the design of "Grace" shows an atmospheric contrast in the material. Individual accents in the upholstery can be set with a choice of four leather colours. "The bulk of the Freifrau portfolio is characterised by particular softness and comfort. Grace' has a new, clearer appearance for the collection, but in no way sacrifices seating comfort. A meaningful and beautiful extension for us," say the designers Brigit Hoffmann and Christoph Kahleyss. The details of the "Marie" and "Grace" furniture collections can be experienced at the upcoming Salone del Mobile.Milano, including test sitting.
