Design starts at the switch

Whether discreetly integrated or deliberately showcased, hager’s new Signature range combines bespoke designs with a unified system platform, offering greater freedom in the design of the finer details.

With its new switch system, hager brings together four design ranges on a single platform, combining variety with a clear logic: the A.1 and C.1 design ranges form the standard of the system, whilst A.8 and C.8 offer additional options in terms of materials and finishes. The Signature range expands the A.1, A.8, C.1 and C.8 design lines with 16 additional colours. The A.8 and C.8 switch ranges each feature 15 further materials to choose from.

The colour collection ranges from subtle natural tones to striking accent colours and is available for all four design lines. The range is complemented by striking shades such as Ocean, Cobalt and Carmine, as well as warm hues such as Hazel, Turf, Petal, Canyon and Saffron. Gold Metallic provides an elegant metallic option. For the larger A.8 and C.8 design lines, hager has expanded the selection to include glass, aluminium, stone and wood, whose varying textures and material qualities offer a wide range of possibilities for individual design.

Despite the wide range on offer, the system remains straightforward: all variants are based on the same 55-millimetre platform for rocker switches, sockets and centre pieces. This allows for flexible combinations of colours, materials and frames. Furthermore, the switch system is compatible with existing Berker installations. This means that modernisation projects in existing buildings can be carried out without the need for new installations or rewiring.

The web-based Style Hub offers additional support for visualising and comparing different designs, and putting together specific product combinations. The integrated Style Engine, for example, analyses individual room views using AI and suggests suitable variants. This allows switches to be incorporated into the interior design concept as early as the initial planning stages. For projects with specific requirements, hager Manufaktur complements the range with solutions in a variety of colours, materials and finishes. This means that, in addition to the Signature range, further options are available for bespoke concepts in high-end residential construction and in demanding commercial projects.

With a wide range of colours, a variety of material options, digital planning tools and bespoke manufacturing solutions, hager’s new switch system brings these elements more firmly into the spotlight in interior design. The combination of creative freedom and a unified platform forms the basis for cohesive interior concepts and simplifies both planning and installation.
