Cocktails round the fireplace

Setting something in motion is the easy part. Once traditions have been established, however, you need a strong feel for continuity to keep them alive. This year, the moon again shone brightly, the stars sparkled, and it was frosty-cold. But that didn’t stop the party, which is now most definitely a tradition in its own right. And once again a great time was had by all.

Together with Marc Meiré and AD, on the night of the first day of the imm cologne trade fair Stylepark hosted the renowned cocktail party. 200 invited guests flocked to Marc Meiré’s marvelous house and celebrated until well after midnight. It was, as always, a truly illustrious circle, the discussions ranging from dead-serious to intensely funny – and not just when talking about who had discovered what during the day at the fair. Women and men, designers and architects, publishers and artists, journalists and design consultants, marketing buffs and CEOs all rubbed shoulders. The mixture was as colorful as it was ideal to really enjoy a flying dinner courtesy of Nykke & Kokki, chat away and be inspired by others. (tw)
