Impressions of Milan

As always, the Milan Design Week 2009 was much more than the sum of the events at the fair itself and in the city. It was a great get together for the international design scene, a matter of seeing and being seen at the countless cocktails, exhibition openings, product launches, showrooms and new locations. As in previous years, everyone started out thirsty to see everything and then had to accept this was simply not possible. Leaving a sense of missing something on the way home, of perhaps not having seen the most important items. And the firm conviction that next year, "next year I'll time things better".
