STYLEPARK LIGHT & BUILDING AUTUMN EDITION
The light in the fall

The special Light + Building Autumn Edition is scheduled to take place from October 2 to 6, 2022. It offers the industry a long-awaited platform for product launches and networking after the pandemic break.

Light + Building, the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building technology that takes place every two years in Frankfurt, was last able to open its doors to guests back in 2018. Since then, this important event has been sorely missed by the industry public. “After the long break, the industry has clearly communicated to us that an industry meeting point is much needed for personal interaction before the end of the year,” says Johannes Möller, Head of Brand Management at Light + Building. Hence, from October 2 to 6, 2022, Messe Frankfurt is hosting the Light + Building Autumn Edition, a special version of the trade fair offering the opportunity for personal interaction and product presentations on a smaller scale. The event will be supplemented by a digital platform that makes it possible to find the right business partners and to get in touch with them in advance and then up to and including October 14, 2022. Although the Light + Building special edition will be more compact than the regular March edition, visitors can already look forward to an extensive program: “We currently expect around 1,300 exhibitors from 46 countries. There are manufacturers from all areas of lighting, home, and building technologies, as well as networked security technology, meaning all trades will present themselves together at the combined fair that is the Light + Building Autumn Edition, so overarching exchange will be possible,” says Möller.

Building automation, energy-efficient building system solutions, electrical installations, electrical installation and network technology, and electrical engineering will be bundled in Halls 9, 11, and 12. Hall 8, meanwhile, is being used by Light + Building for the first time and will house the Intersec Building segment. At the same time, Hall 8 also offers a transition to the lighting segment, since it is there that all manufacturers of lighting technology components, light sources, and control systems are represented. The luminaires themselves are located in halls 3, 4, and 6 – from technical lighting solutions to design luminaires. “Face to face is simply the very best way to discuss the latest developments and present solutions,” says Johannes Möller.

Meanwhile, the top themes of the Light + Building Autumn Edition are Green Deal & Sustainability, Electrification & Digitalization, and Light & Design. Style agency bora.herke.palmisano will explain what characterizes the three themes at Light + Building Autumn Edition, with trend presentations taking place daily at the Design Plaza in hall 3. Right next to the stage, additional information will also be presented on the colors, shapes, and materials of the three trends.

Visitors to the Light + Building Autumn Edition can look forward to a well-rounded event for which tickets are already available. In parallel, the Light + Building Contactor offers a helpful search engine for lighting and building technology all year round and thus makes it easier to reach the customers of tomorrow at any time and from any location.
