Across a total area of 1,190 m², Lista Office LO in collaboration with Total Office Management realized a very diverse set of spatial configurations that can be quickly and easily adapted to each new project phase the interdisciplinary team tackles. To enhance communications and ensure greater transparency Lista Office LO, the Swiss market leader for office furniture, dismantled and sense of departmentalized space and reorganized the areas as multipurpose office worlds: height-adjustable desks from the LO Extend series, alternate with separate discussion islands. For confidential talks or tasks requiring peace and quiet, the LO Mindport can be used: This integrated workspace is a soundproof booth with glass doors and curtains for when greater privacy is needed.
The concept requires that employees share all the office furniture instead of each having a set place for his or her own documents. To make certain that such files can still be kept safely Lista Office LO opted to deploy LO Lockers – a steel cabinet with numerous compartments, each of which can be secured with a number code. The conference room was also given a contemporary design: in place of the usual furnishings (typically a large table and numerous chairs), colored seating cubes and pull-out rows of seats together form a dynamic composition that supports creative work. At the start of 2016, the project teams jointly christened the individual products of Lista Office LO. “After initial skepticism, the staff now appreciates both the new office furnishings and the opportunity to work together as a project team for longer at the same place,” explains Patrick Hunziker, Head of Development at Metrohm AG.
