Personalities from the fields of lighting design, architecture, interior design, photography and journalism recently accepted the invitation of Lodes and Stylepark for a multifaceted programme in Venice: the programme kicked off with a guided tour of the Punta della Dogana, a former customs building that was converted into an art museum by architect Tadao Ando on behalf of patron and collector Francois Pinault. The fascinating interplay of light, architecture, space and art makes the Punta della Dogana a grandiose experience. From there, we walked across the Accademia Bridge to the other side of the Grand Canal to the "Ombra del Leone" restaurant, where Venetian delicacies were served at a festively laid table on a terrace directly on the water - set in the right light by luminaires from the Lodes collection.

The next day, guests were able to experience the handicraft skills of the glassblowers who produce numerous lamps for Lodes in the old tradition. A visit to the Lodes headquarters in Marcon and a final lunch in the enchanting ambience of the Hotel Borgo Ca' dei Sospiri rounded off the trip. We have brought you some impressions of our stops and hope you enjoy discovering them.
