A healthy grounding

Environmentally friendly, sustainable, and transparent in production: all trademarks of the ceramic tiles from Mosa. It was these traits that appealed to British retailer Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, which manufactures its products according to ethical standards and thus found Mosa to be in tune with its own company philosophy. As a result, more than 40 Lush branches have now been fitted with ceramic tiles by Mosa from the Terra Greys series. The large, 60 x 60-centimeter format creates the impression of an allover ceramic skin, which offers an ideal background for the presentation of the brand’s colorful products, and the highly robust nature of the tiles makes them ideally suited to use in retail.

The sustainability of these ceramic tiles, the result of a closed-loop system, was one of the deciding factors in Lush’s choice to collaborate with Mosa: The company is the world’s first ceramic tile manufacturer to be awarded the complete cradle-to-cradle certification for the majority of its tile collection. Although the warm, grey tones of the floor mean it remains in the background, the gentle color shading and the matt, unglazed finish subtly liven up the surface, which is applied throughout. In addition, the environmentally-friendly tiles create an atmosphere that is not only visually but also atmospherically pleasant and free of harmful substances, with everything pointing towards health and wellbeing.
