Müller Small Living 2021: MAUDE
A simple bed - reduced in design, sustainable in material and packaging, multifunctional in use: That was the starting point for Michael Mettler. The architect took on a new discipline and hit the mark right away: "Maude" was successfully established on the market from the first presentation in Zurich. The fact that Müller small living is now taking over production and distribution is immediately apparent when you see the design: With its clear lines and surprisingly great versatility, "Maude" fits perfectly into the portfolio of the Nordic family business. A generous bed frame with, for example, 140 x 200, 160 x 210 or 200 x 220 centimetres made of birch multiplex ensures comfortable lying.
Practical storage space is also provided: the frame offers wide book compartments and shelves at the head and foot ends. High-quality upholstered back sections can also be flexibly inserted at the ends of the bed, support the body when sitting and turn "Maude" into a living island - whether for reading, working or relaxing. And that's not all: the shelves are easily adjustable without tools, forming a bedside table or a retractable compartment as desired. If you choose two versions, each 90 x 100 centimetres in circumference, the bed frames can also be stacked flexibly - perfect for small rooms. For the colour of the coating, you can choose between white or black. (am)
