Sandra Doeller designs for the Frankfurt in-scene; posters, album covers, and magazines, above all for Ata Macias, the DJ, renowned restauranteur and owner of the Robert Johnson club, but for others, too. Doeller’s trademark: she toys with typography, and adds a sharp shot of zeitgeist. She designed “Come on in my Kitchen – the Robert Johnson Book” as well as “Books & Bookster”, which has no print on the cover at all. It recently won Stiftung Buchkunst’s “Schönste Bücher Deutschlands” (Best German Book Design) award and forms another stepping stone in the career of the young and committed graphic designer, who also organizes self-publishing trade fairs and lectures in Typography at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
