New synergies

Due to the pandemic, the first edition of the Southern Sweden Design Days will be presented as a hybrid of digital and analogue offerings in Malmö: A digital platform will thus provide insight into seminars, workshops, exhibitions and networking events. The theme for the Southern Sweden Design Days 2021 is "1 + 1 = 3" and can be seen as a symbol for synergy and sustainability – cooperation and innovation are needed to solve existing and future challenges. The designers' works on display will thus represent a wide spectrum of the diverse disciplines in design. At the same time, physical activities are planned at various locations in Malmö during the four-day event, which will take place under the current pandemic conditions. Also, a dedicated podcast and live events on social media will give insights into creative processes at the intersection of craft and digital production. The event is organised by Form/Design Center.
