Modern, cool, and purist: Tiles for walls and floors in a concrete look add an urban note to interior design, but are also robust and easy to clean. In the three series “Atlanta,” “Workshop,” and “Urban Jungle,” Villeroy & Boch Tiles show how the pure look of the building material can be brought to life. Subtly integrated traces of wear give the unglazed “Atlanta” tiles their own character. A choice of three cool and three warm color tones offers greater individuality, while further variation comes in the form of bar decorations and mosaics. Inspired by industrial style, “Workshop” makes use of color gradients from rust-red to steel-grey for a dynamic overall picture. By way of providing a harmonious counterpart to the striking floor tiles with their used appearance, walls can be covered in light grey relief tiles, which form continual ellipses with their softly curved lines. The decorative tiles can be placed both alongside and on top of one another, so that various patterns are created, resulting in an attractive aesthetic that can develop over a strip or an entire surface.

Anyone who prefers contrasts is well advised to choose “Urban Jungle”: Terrazzo-look inlays on the floor combine well with an extensive use of decorative floral elements on the wall. The expressive decoration either discreetly sets itself apart from the basic tone of the tile with matt and gloss effects, or creates a dramatic eye-catcher with floral patterns. Numerous formats can be selected within the three series: “Urban Jungle” and “Workshop” even offer earthenware tiles for walls available in an oversize measuring 40 x 120 centimeters. Extensive ceramic surfaces can thus be covered with just a few joints – ideal for tile assemblies in showers too. The pure aesthetic of the concrete-look tiles means they can be used in any area of the house, be it for flooring in the living room, walls in the bathroom, or even on the terrace, while the vilbostoneplus surface sealing for floors and the ceramicplus for walls also make them very easy to clean and resistant to ingrained dirt. On top of this, the “Urban Jungle” series for the outdoor area offers special outdoor tiles with a thickness of 20 millimeters.
