The Orion service, which was designed by Wolfgang von Wersin in 1947, is resplendent with a new honeycomb decoration. The honeycomb-shaped relief in glazed white porcelain bestows a unique, timeless character on the Orion. The new decorative painting, which was developed in the Nymphenburg master workshops, accentuates the special shape of the service: subtle lines in classy black or in matte 24-karat fine gold trace the shape of the stylised honeycomb. As a festive table decoration, as a complete service, or as an individual masterpiece, the sumptuous elegance of the honeycomb is reminiscent of liquid honeygold.
