K6

This piece of furniture speaks of a person who knows a lot about a nomadic lifestyle. Christian Haas, born in Germany in 1974, lives and works in Porto, Portugal. He used to move frequently and has always been a traveller between continents. “In this case it’s an advantage to have furniture that adapts to all kinds of needs instead of the other way round,” says the industrial designer.

The new K6 trolley for Tecta is highly versatile thanks to its castors and can be rolled as a mobile side table to a sofa, dining table or through the office. Built out of chrome-plated or powder-coated round tubes, it features three trays that are removable – as a highlight – made of ash veneered plywood and can be added at different heights for a wide range of functions. It’s no coincidence that the handle out of open-pore varnished wood is a tongue-in-cheek nod to travel trolleys.

Clarity, practicality, elegant proportions – these hallmarks distinguish the K6 in Tecta’s collection and make it a poised accessory. A well-designed side table that always goes where you need it.
