Revival vs. Innovation

The grand review: These are the trends and highlights of this year's Milan furniture fair.
The Alias furniture line-up is greatly enriched with the introduction of new stools for its frame collection. Proposed in a fixed version, these stools illustrate the future of the working environment and the need for hybrid elements that can serve different purposes.
Perfectly in line with the highframe project, which, since 1994, has been one of Alias’s main successes, these fixed stools proposed in 60 and 80 cm high seat versions feature four legs in extruded aluminium that are a natural extension of the seat structure. The four-leg stool can be equipped with a stylish footrest in die-cast aluminium harking back to the aluminium castings of the collection. Both the 60 and the 80 cm versions can be had with a low back providing lumbar support.
In its many colour variants, the PVC coated polyester mesh mounted on a painted aluminium structure is a common feature of the products in this collection, and it is also available in fabric or leather covered versions. With its visually light and finely proportioned design, Frame stool comes in a wide range of configurations, all of them designed to combine comfort and functionality.
