Where work lives

For the new Artek Oy headquarters in Helsinki, the British architect Sevil Peach combined office and showroom to create a place where you feel at home.
Lento expresses the subtle design idiom arising from Nordic modernism. Koskinen’s designs are sensible, argued and uncompromisingly elegant.
Koskinen’s Lento for Artek is a project which began as far back as 2006 with a chair. Koskinen wanted to design
a series of wooden furniture that would be both lightweight and affordable. In 2009 the series was complemented with a table and an upholstered chair. The new Lento lounge chair and side table are the latest additions to the product family. An upholstere
d version of the lounge chair is also available.
Harri Koskinen’s design language is characterized by practicality and an uncompromising aesthetic. He searches for clarity and innovative solutions that meet the needs of the consumer and the manufacture
r alike. Lento is a graphic product family, but also pleasantly anonymous. It is equally suited for public places and private homes.
