Four legs and a seat shell
by Thomas Wagner | 6/13/2015
Elisabette is a collection of upholstered furniture, characterized by a double reference to old-style sofas: the solid walnut covered buttons that evoke the classic Chesterfield; and the turned timber legs which adorned our grandmothers’ sofas.
re is an obvious connection between this collection and the previous objects created by Sam Baron for Casamania.
With inspiration from the French interiors of the XVI century, his works embody by the chic spirit typical of the French decorative tra
dition. Elisabette is a tribute to this historical period: a collection consisting of two and three-seater sofas and an armchair - elegant, refined and focused on the ideal of comfort.
