Sommerwonne

Sommerwonne CS represents photorealistic flowers, playfully alternating in the design between focus and blur realised as a digital print and finished using a chintzing process. The fabric, while reminiscent of a heavy cotton fabric, is woven from a spun compact-yarn in Trevira CS. This type of yarn is less hirsute than other yarns, which leads to the even surface of the fabric. The soft feel results from an additional Airo finish. Christian Fischbacher’s Sommerwonne CS is woven in Switzerland, printed and finished in northern Italy and colour-matched to the plain fabric Applaus.
