A&E Design, consisting of Hans Ehrich and Tom Ahlström, is one of Sweden’s leading design bureaus, and they have received many of the world’s most prestigious design awards. They created an electric car back in the sixties, as well as the folding stool for use in museums, which won the Excellent Swedish Design Award in 1995, and which has since then evolved into the Vitemölla Collection, a folding chair and table. A&E Design has received totally 14 Excellent Swedish Design Awards and five Red Dot Design Awards, of which three were for Highest Design Quality.
