Born in Rennes (France) in 1978, Florian Brillet graduated from ENSAB. He works as a freelance architect and designer since 2007.
After a number of years in international offices such as Dominique Perrault, Nox architekten, Jakob+Macfarlane, he launch his own office based on a multidisciplinary vision of architecture. Florian Brillet is interested in complex shape modeling. He developed the golden shell of the Mariinsky opera house for Dominique Perrault and the auditorium of Philharmonic de Paris for Atelier Jean Nouvel. He had also worked as a freelance project leader, winning in 2007 an art foundation competition for Kengo Kuma Architects.
Since 2009, he has realized shops for Muji France alongside developing his own furniture and design projects.
