Ivan Kasner

Amsterdam based Designer Ivan Kasner (born 1979) graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven/Netherlands in 2005, department ‘man and living’. This was the year that he started working as a freelance designer for interior design office Muller van Tol.
In 2006 he co-founded Officeoriginair – an ongoing collaboration with German designer Uli Budde.
Since 2011 he started focussing on designing for his own studio ‘Ivan Kasner’.

Ivan Kasner works with a small team of creatives. He takes total artistic freedom to research and develop valuable concepts and products. This often results in working for the design industry, without it being a necessary starting point. The studio focuses on contemporary design that surround us in our daily habitat.

Amongst the clients you will find Ligne Roset, De Vorm, Royal VKB (Officeoriginair), Serax, Make History and LEFF Amsterdam. Several projects by Officeoriginair are honoured with different design awards like the Dutch Design Award, the GIO Award, the RED DOT Designaward and Design Plus Award
