Both started out as designer-makers of one-off commissions and it is their expertise as cabinet makers which gives them a practical edge, both in resolving technical aspects and communicating with a close network

of the best craftsmen and subcontractors which they have nurtured over the years.

Kay+Stemmer have expanded their business to include interior design; a natural progression where clients have requested Kay+Stemmer to extend their practical, elegan

t aesthetic to the space as a whole.

Part of Kay+Stemmer's success can be attributed to their acute attention to detail and their ability to listen and interpret. They respond to a very wide range of briefs, from architects and interior designers,

to the private collector.
