Biography
The architectural firm LUIS FEDUCHI, ARQTO. was founded in Madrid, Spain, in 1992. A branch office was established 2002 in Pondicherry, India, and a third office was created in 2005 in Berlin while Luis Feduchi was Professor of Architectural and Urban Design at the Technische Universität from 2006 to 2008. The three offices currently develop the design and supervise the construction of various projects in very diverse fields ranging from large housing developments and landscape projects to detailed architectural proposals in the realm of museum conception and interior design. A consistent emphasis of the work lies in the rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of heritage buildings.
LUIS FEDUCHI, ARQTO, which employs eight architects and designers, develops all phases of the design process, from concept to site supervision, currently on a number of projects, such as: the new building for the Historical Archives for the City of Granada on the UNESCO world cultural heritage site Albaicín, in Spain; a three-phase Housing Development in the city of Chennai, India; and a number of proposals for international competitions being developed from the Berlin office.
