Born in Seregno in 1943, he graduated at the Faculty of Architecture, Milan Polytechnic, and attended the Upper Course in Industrial Design, Florence, qualifying in 1966. He completed his training in England, working with industrial
design studios. He founded the Citterio-Nava studio in 1972 with Antonio Citterio and carried out projects for Artvis, Flexform, Snaidero, Boffi, Malobbia and Xilitalia. Following the break up of the Citterio-Nava s
tudio in 1982, Paolo Nava continued independently as a designer, working with noted Italian and foreign companies including Arflex, Flexform, B&B Italia, Tonon, Binova, Poliform, De Sede, Treca, U. Confalonieri & C., etc.
