rds. The simplicity and originality of Perrine Vigneron's designs reflect her distinctively individual approach. As she explained, 'I don't like to make the same thing twice, so I start every project from the point of view of a "beginner" without referrin

rt and Design in Reims, Perrine Vigneron gained a Master in Design Products from the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London. During her time at the RCA, she studied under world-leading designers, such as Ron Arad, Jasper Morrison, and Tord Boontje. At the e

nd of her studies in 2001, Perrine Vigneron went to work with renowned designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, at their studio in Paris. She stayed for the next 9 years, during which time she collaborated with the Bouroullecs on a number of projects. These

included the scenography for the Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec exhibition at Maison & Object 2010 and the interior architecture for a Camper shoe store. Perrine Vigneron set up her own studio in 2010, where she works today. Giverny, a rug created in collabo

ration with Danskina, was the first design to come from her studio. In 2011, Perrine Vigneron continued her collaboration with Danskina by creating the innovative and playful exhibition 'Horses', which was shown in Amsterdam. This featured ten wooden stru

ctures reminiscent of horses, in different sizes, draped in a number of Danskina rugs, including Giverny. Perrine Vigneron's designs have also been shown at several other exhibitions. For example, her work has also been showcased at the RCA Master Show (2

001) and Petit Objets Bien Gardés, Modes & Boiseries, Paris (2002). In addition, she has won several awards, including the First Prize for Talent at Camif 99, France (1999) and the Kokuyo Design Award, Japan (2001).
