The Featured Editions are presented at the imm cologne for the sixth time. And this year we present the winners for the best installations.
Christophe Pillet's Round series goes for rounded lines for the extremely comfortable chairs and armchairs, while the square tables and low tables feature a clean-cut and plain design.
According to Pillet, "There is something that is often difficul
t to find in outdoor furniture, and it is precisely those things that I have tried to express in the collection: simplicity, timelessness and a touch of distant elegance".
His projects are based on enhancing the materials combined with the innovati
ve deep-drawing technique, in which the metal sheet is compressed between two metal moulds to create three-dimensional shapes.
The items are distinctive and innovative, but never intrusive. Thanks to the fact that they are exceptionally functional,
remarkably resistant and are made using advanced technology, they are designed for contract use. In addition, they are perfect for furnishing the home due to their discreet elegance and their flawless design.
New for 2010 are the Round armchair, t
he version with armrests of the classic chair, and a new rectangular bistro table in solid sheet metal. Both the new products, as well as some articles in the previous version, are available in an elegant new color that is especially suitable for contract
environments: the new India brown. The entire collection instead will be available in the elegant total black version.
