On the occasion of Stockholm Design Week 2018 Foscarini hosted a reception at the Italian Embassy in the Swedish capital.
390 rays, each with its own direction, arranged to screen and reflect light from a central nucleus.
Sun – Light of Love is a very striking, enlightened and enlightening object. Besides its unique ambient light – soft, diffused thanks to the reflections on the spokes – it projects intense accent lighting on the surface below.
The lamp comes in two colours, outlining two different characters. The white brings thoughts of Scandinavia, the natural forms of flowers; the gold embodies the power of the sun.
Sun - Light Of Love is a sculptural presence with a strong impact: it gratifies both rationally and sensorially. Above a table, it immediately transmits identity to a space.
