The key features of the Gaggenau ceiling ventilation appliance are its minimalist design and flexible configuration options, which allow it to blend unobtrusively into any kitchen environment. The modular system offers maximum flexibility for dimensions and fan output, allowing the creation of tailor-made solutions to suit every possible kitchen design and requirement. Not only can it be fitted flush with the ceiling, it can also be integrated into kitchen cabinetry. The modular system comprises separate control, lighting and filter modules that can be combined with the two new remote fan units AR 400 / AR 401. With a maximum of two remote fan units and eight filter modules, each control unit achieves an extraction rate of between 950 and 2800 m³/h. Gaggenau’s new innovative system offers an unprecedented degree of flexibility for domestic ventilation needs. The lighting, too, can be selected according to personal preferences. As the control unit is available with or without illumination, the ceiling ventilation system AC 402 can also be combined with external lighting systems. The ceiling ventilation’s AC 402 combination of patented rim extraction filters and new remote fan units not only makes the system extremely efficient, but also particularly quiet in operation. This effect can be further enhanced by mounting the remote fan units outside the kitchen, for example in the loft. The ventilation units are available in air extraction or recirculation versions. The whole system is operated by remote control. The introduction of the ceiling ventilation AC 402 marks the completion of Gaggenau’s range of ventilation systems.
