The “Garden Egg Chair” turns 50
The Adam Brussels Design Museum in Brussels hosts the world’s first solo show on the work of Peter Ghyczy.
GHYCZY recognises that everyone requires design that works for them. With this in mind, the team behind the creation process welcomes complete customisation of any current or past GHYCZY piece.
A variation of the favourite T48 model, Ray requested a writing desk come complete with a wooden top. Here, two Pivot style frames are used at the base, for a strong construction. Light to carry, the T-bar embedded within the frame allows for immense legroom, especially for Thijs. To finish, stationary can be hidden away in the solid oak tabletop, as an additional drawer sits inconspicuously underneath.
